BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Stephen L. Stallings, 64, of Beaver Dam, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2017, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born July 13, 1953, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to Cleveland Martin Stallings and Mary Frances Hamilton Stallings.
He attended Liberty United Methodist Church and worked in maintenance at Hillcrest Healthcare in Owensboro.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sheila Ann Wiggington; three brothers, Martin Stallings, Carroll Stallings, and Kenny Stallings; one infant brother, Cary Michael Stallings; and one sister, Joyce Stallings Wimsatt.
Survivors include two children, Benjamin (Karmen) Stallings, of Tell City, Indiana, and Melanie (Kenny) McDowell, of Beaver Dam; six grandchildren, Ashley McDowell, Chris McDowell, Azlin McDowell, Brady Stallings, Lainey Peter, and Travis Peter; three great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Crosslyn, Brentley, and one on the way; three brothers, Ed (Aggie) Stallings, of Owensboro, Danny (Rita) Stallings, of Utica, Kentucky, and Allan (Nina) Stallings, of Somerset, Kentucky; one sister, Edana Stallings (Matt) McDaniel, of Hawesville, Kentucky.
Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 15, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Pastor Darrell Blacklock officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Church Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
