PALM BAY, Fla. — Robert (Bob) T. Johnson, M.D., a servant on this earth, made his final journey on June 28, 2017. Bob was born May 9, 1934, in Louisville, Ky. Son of Jesse Lewis Johnson and Ezma Johnson. He has one brother, Lew Johnson, of Calabash, N.C.
He is a veteran of the Korean War, practiced medicine in Ohio County, Ky., for 35 years, and was a medical missionary in Haiti for 31 years.
Surviving is his wife of 42 years, Betty Tichenor Johnson; three children, Lisa (Michael) Meadows, of Madisonville, Ky., Joseph (Michaela) Johnson, of Owensboro, Ky., and Robert (Cathy) Johnson, of Hartford, Ky.; two stepchildren, Melody Lunsford, of Hartford, and Douglas Berryman (Bo) of Beaver Dam, Ky.; 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one niece, and one nephew.
A family celebration service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care, Palm Bay, Fla.
