ROSINE, Ky. — After years of discussion and planning, ground will be broken for the construction of the Bill Monroe Museum next week.
The Ohio County Tourism Office has announced the ground breaking will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2017, on site in the Everett Park.
The Ohio County Fiscal Court accepted multiple bids for the construction of the Monroe Museum in March. The county received $300,000 from the state to put toward the museum’s construction.
The Ohio County Tourism Office invites everyone to attend the event.
Everett Park is at 22 Amelia Street in Rosine.
