MORGANTOWN, Ky. — Otis “Randy” Randall Felty, 65, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017, at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Randy was born July 28, 1951, in Owensboro, Ky., to the late Roy Otis and Cova Johnson Felty who survives.

He was a member of Brooklyn Missionary Baptist Church, a United States Army veteran, recipient of three sharp shooter medals, a Kentucky Colonel, retired director of the 5th District Fire Dept. and a member of the Banock Lodge #824. Randy loved car racing and the University of Kentucky basketball.

Otis “Randy” Randall Felty is survived by his wife, Brenda Felty, of Morgantown; one daughter, Brittany Moore Felty, of Morgantown; one son, Scott Chinn (Amber), of Hartford, Ky.; stepson, Pete Havens (Christy), of Morgantown; mother, Cova Johnson Felty, of Morgantown; sister, Judy Zoglmann (David), of Owensboro; brother, Danny Felty (Gail), of Morgantown; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, May 18, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Jim McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in the Mt Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 17, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Thursday 8 a.m. until funeral time at 1 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
