MORGANTOWN, Ky. — Imogene Ferguson Maxfield, 77, of Morgantown, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at the Morgantown Care & Rehab.

She was born Feb. 27, 1940, in Grayson County, Ky., to the late Thomas Woodrow and Jennie Whitehead Ferguson, wife of the late James Robert “Bob” Maxfield. Imogene, a member of Rochester Missionary Baptist Church, and a homemaker.

Other than her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two daughters Janice Lynn Maxfield and Dottie Maxfield.

Imogene Ferguson Maxfield is survived by one son, Dave Maxfield (Courtney), of Rochester, Ky.; two daughters, Sheila Stephens (Jeramy), of Bowling Green, Ky., and Kimberly D. Maxfield, of Bowling Green; one brother, Norman Ferguson, of Horse Branch, Ky.; three granddaughters; five grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday, April 15, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Todd Phelps officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 14, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday after 10 a.m. until funeral time at 1 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
