McHENRY, Ky. — Timothy C. “Timbo” Goff, 51, of McHenry, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017, at his residence. He was born Dec. 14, 1965, in Hammond, Ind.
Timothy was employed as a boat pilot for Wabash Marine and was a member of The Anchor Church in Beaver Dam, Ky.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Powell Goff, and one daughter, Sara Goff.
Survivors include his wife, Joanie Riger Goff, of McHenry; two sons, Timmy Goff, Tommy Goff; one stepson, Daniel Raley, all of McHenry; three daughters, Patricia Goff, of Hartford, Ky., Kristina Goff, of Hartford, and Kelly Smith, of McHenry; mother and stepfather, Juanita and Donald Givens, of McHenry; 17 grandchildren, Leo Hatton, Aubrey Hatton, Jaxon Hatton, Hailee Moore, Harlee Geary, Gavin Moore, Braxton Briar, Justin Vanwinkle, Braelyn Goff, Mason Raley, Danielle Raley, Gracie Raley, Leona Raley, Garrett Raley, Garrett Fried, Nevaeh Geary and Colten Sublett; eight brothers, Donald (Tiffany) Givens, Keith Goff, Michael (Misty) Riger , John Michael Riger, Cleo Ferguson, Jesse Riger, Ray Ferguson, and Mitchell Ferguson; four sisters, Joyce (Larry) Jones, Janet (Todd) Watson, Fredia (Geary) Ferguson, and Diania (Chuck) Topper.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Pastor Anthony Goff and Pastor Roy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Render Memorial Cemetery in McHenry. Friends may visit with Timothy’s family from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral Thursday at the funeral home.
