HORSE BRANCH, Ky. — Ricky Leon Autry Sr., 64, of Horse Branch, left this world for his home in Heaven on Monday, March 27, 2017, at Ohio County Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born on April 15, 1952, in Rosine, Ky., to the late Henry Carson and Prudy Mae Evans Autry.

Ricky married the love of his life, Jeanette Allen, on June 18, 1971, and they were later blessed with three children and seven grandchildren.

Ricky was a member of New Baymus Church of Christ and was retired from Nestaway where he worked in maintenance. He loved spending time with his family, raising a garden, watching movies, cheering for U.K. Basketball, Hunting and watching The Three Stooges.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Owen Autry, Kenneth Autry, and Henry Autry Jr.; four sisters, Bonnie Bradley, Donna Scarlett, Mary Ruth Autry, and Anne Mary Autry; one grandson, Tyler Dalton Autry; one daughter-in-law, Linda Gail Autry; and his father-in-law, Wendell C. Allen.

He is survived by his best friend and wife of nearly 46 years, Jeanette Autry; two sons, Ricky Leon Autry Jr., and Chad Ryan (Heather) Autry; one daughter, Bethany Michelle (J.T.) Belcher; three sisters, Sarah (Randy) Pugh, Barbara (David) Downey, and Shirley Wilson; and his mother-in-law, Betty Lou Allen. Ricky was blessed with six grandchildren, Hunter Allen Autry, Jax Blake Autry, Aiden James Belcher, Kara Michelle Belcher, Toby Ricker Belcher, and Asher Link Belcher. He was also survived by his church family of New Baymus Church of Christ.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, at Sugar Grove Church of Christ in Renfrow, Ky., with DeWayne Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery near Horse Branch. Friends may visit with Ricky’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at Sugar Grove Baptist Church, 615 State Route 2713, Horse Branch, KY 42349.
