HARTFORD, Ky. — James A. Pinkston, 61, of Hartford, Ky., died Monday, March 6, 2017, in Hartford.
He was born in Owensboro and was a Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Ada Pinkston; and an infant son, James Allen Pinkston Jr.
Survivors include his companion, Benita Hagan, of Hartford; a daughter, Cynthia Pinkston, of Hartford; his sister, Joy Pinkston Kessler, of Owensboro, Ky.; a niece, Katie Howard, of Owensboro; and a nephew, Dylan Onstott, of Owensboro.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, at Geary Funeral Home, Fordsville, Ky., with burial in Johnson Family Cemetery in Beech Valley. Visitation is after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
