HARTFORD, Ky. — Wanda Louise Reynolds, 76, of Hartford, departed this life on Monday, March 6, 2017, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on Dec. 25, 1940, in Hartford to the late Albert Landis and Rosa Nell Westerfield Bratcher.
Mrs. Wanda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her love for life was taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert Bratcher Jr. and Rickie Dale Bratcher.
Survivors include Wanda’s husband of 58 years, Rodney Reynolds, of Hartford; one son, Jim (Lisa) Reynolds, of Beaver Dam, Ky.; one daughter, Trina (Bobby) Riggs, of Nebo, Ky.; two brothers, Rev. Jerry (Virginia) Bratcher, and Wendell (Sue) Bratcher, all of Hartford. Mrs. Wanda was blessed with six grandchildren, Kansas (Josh) Corley, Keyona (Cody) Corley, Kara (Brian) McKinney, Brad Reynolds, Nick Burdin, and Chad Reynolds, and 12 great-grandchildren, Lucas Corley, Jacob Corley, Ethan Corley, Emma Corley, Nate Corley, Liddie Burdin, Ross Corley, Alexis Corley, Henry McKinney, Aden Burdin, Charlie McKinney, and Chloe Reynolds. Several Nieces, nephews, and host of friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 9, at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, with Rev. Josh Corley officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford. Friends of Mrs. Wanda Reynolds are welcome to visit with her family from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
