CENTERTOWN, Ky. — Gena Rhea Thurman, 33, passed away on Feb. 23, 2017, at her home. She was born in Owensboro on June 22, 1983.
Gena had worked at DSSA .
She was preceded in death by her mother Sheila Barnett.
Survivors include her father and stepmother, Gene Simpson and Sandra Daugherty; sons, James Rhineburger and Nathan Thurman; daughters, Emily and Lucy Thurman; and sisters, Stacy Simpson and Angie Padgett(Darrin).
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Scott Fleener officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
