Lenora Ellen Benson Embry, 88, of Beaver Dam, Ky., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015. She was born April 4, 1927, in Robinson, Ill.
Mrs. Embry was a member of Liberty Lighthouse Church of God in Hartford, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Morton Benson; second husband, Rev. Basil Embry; parents, Joseph and Grace Myers Hornbeck; two sisters, Lucille Bollinger and Gertha Irvin; and a niece, Sue Bonebrake.
Survivors include a special niece, Nancy Padgett of Newburgh, Ind., as well as many other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, Ky. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, at Union Chapel Cemetery in Graysville, Ind.
