Brenda H. Bartlett, 74, of Owensboro, Ky., died Aug. 11, 2015, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born July 13, 1941 in Fordsville, Ky. She retired as a secretary for Swedish Match and was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church.
She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and close friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Lee Hobbs.
Survivors include her mother, Lena LeMaster Hobbs; two daughters, Leah Bartlett Hagan (Barry) and Lara Bartlett Morse (Billy); four grandchildren, Kaylee Marie Lature, B.J. Morse, Bria Morse and Bo Morse; five great grandchildren, Conner, Brody, Knox, Shiloh, and Sarah Mae,; a brother, Stephen Hobbs (Pam); a special cousin, Eva Jean Adams; an aunt, Pat LeMaster; and a nephew, Nathan Hobbs (Ying).
Services are 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home in Owensboro. Burial is in Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday and after 9 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
