Wilma E. Smallwood, 51, of Reynolds Station, Ky., died Sunday, May 10, 2015, at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington. Wilma Eileen Fulkerson was born Nov. 1, 1963, in Owensboro, Ky., to Thomas Estil and Laura Elaine Carter Fulkerson and was married to Walter Lee Smallwood on Oct. 4, 1982.
She was an LPN with Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, a member of the Catholic faith, and enjoyed fishing.
She was preceded in death by a son, Lee Smallwood, who died on Nov. 8, 2007, and by her mother, Laura Elaine Fulkerson.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Walt Smallwood; a son, Jeffrey Smallwood, of Reynolds Station; a daughter, Catherine Smallwood, of Reynolds Station; four grandchildren; her father, Thomas Estil Fulkerson, of Hartford; four brothers, James Fulkerson, Tom Fulkerson, William “Dubby” Fulkerson, and Marvin Fulkerson, all of Hartford; and a sister, Patricia Smallwood, of Centertown.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. John Ighacho officiating. Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Wilma’s family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Thursday at Musters in Calhoun.
