VaclavMachalaVaclav “Vince” Machala, 58, of Hartford, Ky., passed away Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He was born on Feb. 22, 1956, in Czech Republic to the late Jan Machala and Makia Fikrova Machalova.

Mr. Machala was a line leader trainer at Perdue Farms, Inc., and a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Beaver Dam, Ky. He enjoyed fishing and cooking.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Hancock Machala, of Hartford; three sons, Jamison Boone and Corey Boone, both of Owensboro, Ky., and Vaclav Machala and his wife, Suzka, of Czech Republic; two daughters, Editha Malinova and Lenka Machalova, both of Czech Republic; 13 grandchildren; one brother, Libor Machala, of Czech Republic; and one sister, Dana Cemolakova, of Czech Republic.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Jean Kalombo officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m. until ­8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford. Burial will be held in Czech Republic.
