RobHaydenRobert “Rob” Dwayne Hayden, 44, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 13, 2014.

Rob proudly served his country in the United States Navy and his Lord throughout his life. Rob emanated love and kindness and he never met a stranger. He had the most giving heart. His love was comforting, unquestionable, and unwavering. He gave his all as a husband, father, son, brother, and friend.

He had a smile that could illuminate any room, a never ending hug that made everyone feel anchored and safe, and was always willing to go the extra mile for anyone at any time. He will be truly missed.

Rob was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Paul and Anita Howard; paternal grandmother, Theodora Czerwinski; stepson, Nathaniel Kyle Lindsey, and nephews Ross Howard and Ronnie Hayden.

Rob is survived by his wife, Gradaphene Lindsey Hayden; son, Preston Hayden; daughter, Betsy Lindsey; mother, Betty (Howard) Thompson; father and mother-in-law, Terry (Teresa) Lindsey; brother, Ed (Stephanie) Hayden; sisters, Debbie (Kelly) Frick, Cindy (Dennis) Titzer, and Jennifer (Steve) Howard; brother-in-law, Scott (Alisha) Lindsey, several nieces and nephews, numerous aunts and uncles, and many cousins and extended family.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Jay Raymond officiating. Burial will be in Horse Branch General Baptist Church Cemetery in Horse Branch. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
