Virgil Wayne Matthews, 51, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, at his residence. He was born March 2, 1963, in Louisville to the late Guy Arnold and Wilma Jean Taylor Matthews.
He was a retired service attendant for Swifty Gas and Oil.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Matthews, of Louisville; one son, Eric Wayne Kildoo, of Louisville; two daughters, Angela Kildoo, of Louisville, and Crystal Craig, of Branchville, S.C.; four brothers, Scott Matthews, Sr., Sammy Matthews, Joey Matthews, and Harold Matthews, all of Louisville; and two sisters, Marilynn Nall, of Louisville, and Glenda Matthews, of Texas. Virgil was blessed with ten grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Cleatus Bowman officiating. Burial will be in Cool Springs Cemetery near Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
