AnnTaylorAnn Hall Taylor, 77, of Frankfort, Ky., passed away at UK Medical Center on June 13, 2014.

She was a lovely Christian lady who loved her Lord, her South Frankfort Presbyterian Church family and her many friends. She had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around. She was a graduate of Centre College and held a Master of Science in Social Work from the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville and was a professor of sociology at the University of Kentucky for eleven years. She was also with the Kentucky Bureau of Public Assistance for eleven years and was a director of many of the programs offered. Ann was kind, benevolent, caring, talented and highly intelligent. She had also written several poems, which had been published, and a short book on Dyslexia.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Connis Hall, of Hartford, Ky.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted friend and caregiver, John S. Mathis, Sr.; a niece, Liz Clark; a nephew, Allen Hall; special friend B.J. Doss and many other friends.

Funeral services were held on June 16 at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home, 1725 Louisville Road, Frankfort, Ky. 40601.
