Roger Lynn Simpson, 58, of Hartford, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at his residence. He was born May 11, 1956, in Owensboro, Ky., to the late Willard and Arrena Mae Ball Simpson.
He attended Oak Grove Church of God in Cromwell and was a truck driver.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Arnom Ball, Terry Dean Simpson, and Douglas Simpson, and one sister, Patsy Poole.
Survivors include two sons, Anthony Simpson of Island and Ryan Simpson of Beaver Dam; one daughter, Jennifer Simpson (Josh) Brown of Hartford; six brothers, Mike Simpson, Dennis Simpson, David Simpson, and Larry Simpson all of McHenry, Terry Wayne Simpson of Henderson and Donald Simpson of Pleasant Ridge, Ky., and one sister, Jo Ann Underwood of McHenry. Roger was blessed with six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 24, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Brother Bobby Phelps officiating. Burial will be in Render Memorial Cemetery in McHenry. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
