Jackie Ray Maiden, 68 of Horse Branch, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014, at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford. He was born July 28, 1945, in Beaver Dam to the late Homer and Virginia Snodgrass Maiden.
He was a heavy equipment operator.
Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Kathy Jo Maiden.
Survivors include a son, one daughter, Sheila Jean Maiden of Owensboro; two brothers, Charles Maiden of Beaver Dam and Ralph Maiden of McHenry; five sisters, Sue Chinn, Margaret Belford, and Sandy Baize all of Beaver Dam, Pat Shepherd of Dundee, Judy Goff of Hartford and companion, Carolyn Stewart of Horse Branch. He also is survived by one granddaughter.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Terry Tarrance officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery (505 S) Horse Branch. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
