BrendaChinnBrenda Chinn, 61, of 404 Horace Martin Loop; Centertown, Ky., died Thursday, March 6, 2014, at her home in Centertown. Brenda Ellis Jones was born July 14, 1952, in McLean County to Thomas and Martha Lott Jones and was married to Carl William Chinn on Jan. 1, 1972. Brenda was a homemaker and a member of New Life Baptist Church in Hawesville. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Jones; by a brother, Delbert Jones; and by a sister, Linda Lou Jones.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Chinn; a son, Jason Chinn of Owensboro; a granddaughter, Michaela Chinn of Owensboro; her mother, Martha Jones; and four sisters, Shirley Boyken of Island, Susie Gross of Richmond, Ky., Ruby Scott, and Angela Donahue both of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Tony Boyken officiating. Burial will be in the Centertown Cemetery in Ohio County. Friends may visit with Brenda’s family from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. until time of services Sunday at Musters in Livermore.

The Brenda E. Chinn family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital; 262 Danny Thomas Place; Memphis, Tennessee 38105. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Livermore.
