Jhovany Cordova Cortes, 24, of Beaver Dam died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at Ohio County Hospital. He was born in Tuxtla Gutierrez, Mexico, and worked as a laborer.
Survivors include his mother, Agustina Cortes Lopez; his father, Oscar Cordova Lopez; his wife, Rosa Morales Oritz; three sons, Julio Cordova, Jose Cordova and Angel Cordova; a daughter, Maria Cordova; two brothers and one sister.
A Mass will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with the family after the Mass at the church. Burial will be in Pochutta Oaxaca, Mexico. Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is in charge of arrangements.
