Edward Eugene “Eddie” Warren, 68, of Centertown, passed away Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. He was born Feb. 18, 1945, in McHenry, Ky., to the late James Logan and Opal Butler Warren. He was a member of Church of Christ at Beaver Dam and was a supervisor at Nestway.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice C. McCoy Warren, who passed away, Aug. 3, 2013, and one grandson, Kyle Warren.
Survivors include two sons, James Logan Warren, II, and John Matthew Warren both of Centertown; two brothers, James E. (Wanda) Warren and John L. (Bonita) Warren both of Hartford; two sisters, Sue (Donald) Barron of Rosine and Patty (Billy) Blackburn of Rockport. Eddie was blessed with three grandchildren, Jessica Mae Warren, Margaret Mae Warren, and Mattelyn Mae Warren.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, at William L. Danks Funeral Home, in Beaver Dam, with Mike Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
