Margie Joan Green, 81, of Greenwood, Ind., formerly of Hartford passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, Ind. She was born Jan. 25, 1932, in Ohio County, Ky., to the late Dillis Elmer Ralph and Beatrice Brown Ralph.
Mrs. Green retired from St. Francis Hospital as a Cardiac Tech. and was a member of Hartford Christian Church and attended Faith Community Church in Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Elmer Ralph, Willard Ralph, Bob Ralph, Dalton Ralph and Lee Ralph and two sisters, Maxine Evans and Carmi King.
Survivors include one son, Russell Bruce Green and his wife Cathy of Greenwood, Ind.; one grandson, Adam Green of California; four great-grandchildren and one brother, Clayton Ralph and his wife Mary Lou of Hartford and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday , Oct. 3, at Antioch-Taylorfield Cemetery in Ohio County. Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, Ky., is in charge of arrangements.
