Elsie Katherine Austin Clark, 94, of Hartford died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at Professional Care Health & Rehab in Hartford. She was born in the Gold Nugget Community in Ohio County to the late Albert U. and Sarah I. Patton Austin.
She was of the Baptist faith, was a homemaker and a seamstress.
She was preceded in death by two children, Waunita Bell Smith and Lewis Clifford Smith; a grandson, Gary Keith Culbertson; four sisters and six brothers.
Survivors include three daughters, Mildred (Frank) Nicely, Brenda (John) Goodall and Kathy (Bob) Wedding; one son, Oscar (Emma) Clark; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Mike Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Church Cemetery near Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time on Sunday at the funeral home.
