Mildred Phillips, 93, of Hartford died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, at Fordsville Nursing and Rehab in Fordsville, Ky. She was born in Narrows to the late John and Lydia Caroline “Callie” Neighbors Quisenberry.
She worked in public service and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Scott Daniel Phillips and a daughter Thala Caroline Upchurch.
Survivors include a son, Conley Jene (Mary Ann) Kirk of Shenandoah, Pa.; five grandchildren, Melissa Darosh, Jennifer Kirk Gros, Chance Upchurch, Jesse Upchurch and Lucas Upchurch; five great-grandchildren, Steven, Jordon, Kurtis, Erin and Andrew.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, at Mt. Vernon Cemetery near Hartford.
