William Lee Duke, 84, of Beaver Dam, passed away, Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013. He was born April 21, 1929, in McHenry to the late Leslie Cooper Duke and Anna Warren Kelly.
He was a member of Beaver Dam Church of Christ and was retired from Inland Steel as a millwright.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Jean Duke.
Survivors include three sons, Samuel (Valorie) Duke of Roundhill, Ky., Stephen (Pam) Duke of Highland, Ind., and Stanley (Holli) Duke of Owensboro; three daughters, Sharon Graff of Owensboro, Shelah Krause of Owensboro and Suzanne (Van) Gurley of South Bend, Ind.; one brother, David Kelly of Indiana and one sister, Judy McClarty of Indiana, seventeen grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Mike Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
