Alma S. Moore, 84, of Beaver Dam, passed away Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at Professional Care Health & Rehab in Hartford. She was born May 18, 1929, in Kyrock, Ky., to the late Euklet and Virginia Sencabaugh Sowders. She attended Echols Church of God and she worked on the production line at GE.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Cleo Moore; son, James Paul Penner; three sisters, Emma Lorene Burch, Glena Vincent and Evelyn Whobrey and two brothers, Tommy Souders and Floyd Souders.
Survivors include one son Michael Edward Penner; one grandson, James Christopher Penner both of Louisville; one sister, JoAnn Waters of Beaver Dam, and one brother, Paul Souders of Brownsville, Ky.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Ky. William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, KY is in charge of the arrangements.
