Mabel Louise McKenney, 95, of Beaver Dam, passed away Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at Professional Care Health and Rehab Center. She was born Nov. 24, 1917, in Cromwell, Ky., to the late Logan and Vera Wallace Bradley.
She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and past president of The Class of Lydia for 12 years. She was a retired check-out clerk for Veller’s IGA and Stewart’s IGA.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy” Hunley McKenney and one brother, Leon “Buddy” Bradley.
Survivors include her son, William “Bill” McKenney of Beaver Dam.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Dr. Glenn Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
