Della Mae Davis, 77, of Beaver Dam, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at her residence. She was born Oct. 25, 1935, in Beaver Dam to the late Oscar and Lottie Burden Morris.
She was of Baptist Faith and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herrel Davis, who passed away July 16, 1980. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Donald Morris, Tommy Morris and Herman Morris and one sister, Helen Baggarly.
Survivors include her companion of 19 years, Bill Stewart of Beaver Dam; three sons, Terry Lee Davis and Steven Herrel Davis, both of Beaver Dam, and Micky Louis Davis of Lewisburg, Ohio; two daughters, Patricia Thorpe of Owensboro and Jill Davis of Beaver Dam; four brothers, Jackie Morris of Hartford, Edward Morris of Bowling Green, Jerry Morris of Beaver Dam, and Bobby Morris of Indiana; one sister, Louise Moore of Indiana and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 6, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Dickie Casey officiating. Burial will be in Taylormine Cemetery near Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
