MaryDimpleLeachMary “Dimple” Leach, 89, of Beaver Dam, passed away, Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Beaver Dam Nursing & Rehab Center. She was born February 9, 1924 in Butler Co., KY to the late Monroe and Golda Wilson Casey. She was a member of Hartford Second Baptist Church and she was retired from Ohio County Hospital as a nurse’s aide. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, cooking holiday meals for her children and grandchildren.

Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wavy Leach; two sons, Ronald Bruce Ralph, and Ora Vincent Ralph; step-mother, Grethum Casey; grandparents, Martin and Deanna Wilson; sisters, Lorene, Allene, Faustine, May; brother, Clinton; uncles Everette and Gordon Wilson and her aunt, Irene Wilson.

Survivors include; a daughter, Bobbie Jean (Larry) Porter of Owensboro; son, Joseph (Rose) Ralph of Centertown; four sisters, Virginia Haven of Tell City, Ind., Beverly Fulkerson of Owensboro, Diane South of Leitchfield, and Jean Spears of Bowling Green; two brothers, Charles Casey of New Mexico and Denzel Casey of Beaver Dam and two step-sons, Glenn (Dottie) Leach and Larry Leach. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Pete Leach officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday and 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
