Elsie Mourine Sandefur, 90, of Hartford, died Thursday May 23, 2013 at Professional Care Health & Rehab in Hartford. She was born in McHenry to the late Henry M. and Relda Garrett Ball.
She was the former owner operator of the Kiddie Kastle in Hartford and she was a member of Hartford Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Clifford Thomas Sandefur; two daughters, Delores Jean Voyles and Carolyn Voyles; a brother, Arvin Ball and sisters, Dula Mae Tichenor, Freda Alcola and Daisy Underhill.
Survivors include a son, Clifton (Cindy) Sandefur of Hartford; a brother, James (Ella) Ball of Schererville, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Margaret Ball of Hartford; seven grandchildren, Ryan (Karen) Sandefur, Chris Sandefur, Tiffany (Ben) Burden, Tom (Rhonda) Voyles, Natalie Voyles, Bobby (Kathy) Voyles, David (Jennifer) Voyles, 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services are 3 p.m. Sunday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Mikey Sweeney officiating. Burial will be in Centertown Cemetery with a private family graveside service.
