Ruth M. May, 94, of Centertown died Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Ohio County Hospital. She was born in Lancing, Tenn., to the late Walter and Rachel Hall Potter.
She was retired from Williams Electronics in Chicago, Ill., and was a member of Centertown Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband Boyd Davis; her second husband Lester May; two daughters, Joyce Ann Davis and Bobbi Darding; two sons, Charles Davis & Hubert Davis.
Survivors include two sons, Leamon Davis of Mountain Home, Ark., and Russell Davis of Minneapolis, Minn.; four daughters, Pat Marlow of Centertown, Joann Brake of Powderly, Gail Hernandez of Chicago, Ill., and Vivian Gazikas of Chicago, Ill.; a sister, Betty Morgan of Detroit, Mich.; 26 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Rodney Albin officiating. Burial will be in Centertown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time on Saturday at the funeral home.
