Vonnie Belle Tooley Leach, 93, of Hartford, Ky., died Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Professional Care & Rehab Center. She was born in Muhlenberg County on Dec. 12, 1919, to the late James W. Tooley and Martha Louiza Gates Tooley.

Mrs. Leach retired from Montpelier Glove Factory after 43 years of service and was a member of Hartford United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Leach in 1975; two brothers, Charles Tooley and Estill Tooley and three sisters, Lucille Brown, Stella Rice and Leola Litton. 

Survivors include two sons, Charles A. Leach, III (Mary Margaret) of Shelbyville, Tenn., and Kenneth D. Leach (Karen) of Mukilteo, Wash.; one daughter, Anna L. Render (Jerry) of Centertown, Ky., and three grandchildren, Robert Render of Lexington, Ky., Todd Render (Becky) of Orlando, Fla., and Jared Leach of Mukilteo, Wash. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 10, at 2 p.m. at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford with no prior visitation and private burial. Rev. Bob Clements will be officiating.
