Linda Runyon, age 56, of Mt. Washington, Ky. formerly of Ohio County died Friday, April 19, 2013 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Ky. She was born in Jellico, Tenn. to the late Gobel Runyon and Alma Jean Cline.
She was employed by Daicel Safety System’s America, was of the Baptist belief and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Glenn Runyon.
She is survived by two sons, Darrel Smith and his wife, Kechia and Douglas Smith all of Hartford, Ky.; four grandchildren, Daxton, Jason, Alyssa and Kayla Smith; two brothers, Gary Powers of Sevierville, Tenn. and Steve Runyon of Ind.; three sisters, Theresa Cline Burkhead of Dayton, Ohio, Lisa Cline of Fairborn, Ohio and Bobby Cline Mitchell of Asheville, Tenn.
Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 21, at the Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, Ky. with Rev. Matthew Sickling officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 1 p.m. Sunday April 21, until time of service Sunday. Burial will be private in Maggard Family Cemetery in Ohio County.
