Orville Landon Daugherty, 66, of Hartford, passed away, Saturday, February 23, 2013 at his residence. He was born September 1, 1946 in Wooster, Ohio to the late Orville and Nina Howard Daugherty.

He attended Horse Branch General Baptist Church and was a timber cutter for Sipes Timber Cutting.

Beside his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Daugherty and Elwood Daugherty and one sister, Dorothy Daugherty.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela Kelley Daugherty of Hartford; three sons, Jason Daugherty, Aaron Daugherty, and Willie Daugherty all of Hartford; one daughter, Suzann Roebke of Hartford; two brothers, James Daugherty of Wooster, Ohio and Wendell Daugherty of Fla.; five sisters, Oma Spiglemire & Pat Airheart both of Wooster, Ohio, Bertha Morris Cavitt and Charlotte Newman both of Benton, Ky., & Sharon Arbagest of West Salem, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Terry Tarrance officiating. Burial will be in Leach Cemetery near Horse Branch. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m., Monday and 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Landon Daugherty Memorial Fund. Envelopes will available at the funeral home.
