James P. Burden, 83 of Beaver Dam, passed away, Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born October 3, 1929 to the late Robert and Doomie Pharris Burden.
He was of Baptist faith and worked as a tug driver for Ford Motor Company.
He is survived by his son, Marty Burden; his daughter, Paula Hunt; two sisters, Christine Hazlett and Linda Bradshaw and three grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2012 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with burial in Rosine Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Military rights will be provided by Wesley Phelps Honor Guard.
