Paula “Susie” Burton, 51 of Hartford died Friday Jan. 4, 2013, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Owensboro, worked at several banks in Ohio County, was employed as a secretary for Ohio County Treasurer’s Office and attended Rosine Baptist Church.
She was preceded is death by her mother, Monnie Taylor Phelps, and a brother, Allen Eugene Phelps.
Survivors include her husband, Terry Burton; a son, Samuel Elder Burton of Hartford; two sisters, Kim (Robert) Baize of Beaver Dam and Lisa (Ricky) Butler of Cromwell; her father, Eugene (Sammye) Phelps of Hartford.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. David King officiating. Burial will be in Sunnydale Cemetery near Dundee. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
