Winnie Christine Watson, 80, of Centertown, passed away Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born June 15, 1932, in Stearns, Ky., to the late Oscar and Alma Tinch Sellers.

She attended Ohio County Seventh-day Adventist Church and was retired from Ohio County Hospital as a nurse’s aide.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Watson; her children, Carolyn Hardin and Jackie Kirk; her first husband, Vernon Kirk and her grandson, Brian Hughes.

Survivors include three sons, Tommy (Kathy) Hughes of Beaver Dam, Robert (Dawn) Kirk of Centertown and Willis Watson, Jr. of Centertown; one daughter, Sandra (Mitchell) Ward of Calhoun; two brothers, Wayne (Cindy) Sellers of Morganfield and Jimmie (Linda) Sellers of Somerset; three sisters, Francis (Harrel) Leach of Beaver Dam, Janice (Bill) Reed of Beaver Dam and Shelia (Bobby) Green of Beaver Dam, 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Chris Rollins officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
