Patricia Ruth “Patsy” Casey, 54, of Hartford, passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Owensboro Medical Health System in Owensboro. She was born Jan. 15, 1958, in Hartford, Ky. to the late Amos and Vonnie Embry Daugherty.
She attended Emanuel Baptist Church in Beaver Dam and she was a caretaker.
Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her three sisters, Barbara Daugherty, Kay McAdams, & Betty Ann Daugherty and one brother, Willard Ralph “Billy” Daugherty.
Survivors include her husband, Kirk Lear of Hartford; one son, Ira Embry of Olaton; two daughters, Allison Lear and Sandy Bratcher both of Hartford; one brother, Lowell Daugherty of Hartford and six sisters, Imogene Bratcher of Hartford, Doris Wilson of Horse Branch, Wanda Jones of Owensboro, Henrietta Crowder and Almie Devine both of Michigan, and Goldie Johnson of Hartford.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Rev. James Hohimer officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery near Horse Branch. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday and 9 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
