Jeanene Reneer, 82, of 224 Walnut St. Centertown, Ky., passed away Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at the Ohio County Hospital in Hartford. She was born on March 19, 1930, in Centertown to the late Luther Everett Reneer and Wylene Vincent Reneer.

She retired from General Electric and MPD, Owensboro as a mounting operator. She was a member of Centertown Baptist Church and Fort Hartford Chapter of the DAR. Miss Reneer attended Western Kentucky Teachers College in Bowling Green and Brescia College in Owensboro.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dr. Everett Reneer and Norris Reid Reneer and three sisters, Amelia Jo Revere, Mary Lew Brabandt and a twin sister, Colleen Reneer.

Survivors include a brother, Rex Reneer and his wife Holly both of Hartford; sisters, Patricia Fleener and her husband Richard of Centertown and Carolyn Hopper of Washington, Mich., and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Centertown Baptist Church with Bro. Rodney Albin and Bro. Scott Fleener officiating. Burial will be in Centertown Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford and from 11 a.m. until time of services on Thursday at the Centertown Baptist Church.
