Beatrice Himes Bratcher, 85, of Hartford passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at the Ohio County Hospital Hartford. She was born May 19, 1927, to the late John Himes and Lottie Hamlett Himes.
Mrs. Bratcher retired from General Electric, Owensboro, Ky. She was a member of Liberty Lighthouse Church of God in Hartford and was formerly employed by the Cigar Factory in Owensboro, Ky. She was preceded in death by a daughter Judy Bratcher.
Survivors include her husband, Arnold Bratcher of Hartford; one granddaughter Krystal Bratcher of Rosedale, Ind.; one stepson Kevin Bratcher and his wife Paula of Rosedale and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford with Sister Mary Doepel officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery Hartford. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until time of services Friday at the Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford.
