Dr. Ronald (Ronnie) Earl Price, 78, of Hartford, passed away Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at the Ohio County Hospital in Hartford. He was born in Madisonville, Ky., on July 16, 1934, to the late Robert E. Price and Dora Pearl Allen Price.
Dr. Price was a retired Dentist and practiced in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He was a member of the Hartford Baptist Church , a graduate of Western Kentucky University in 1956, the University of Louisville Dental School in 1963 and in U. S. Army Military Intelligence serving in Germany. Dr. Price enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
Surviving are one son, C. Steven Price and his companion Judy Richards of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Rhonda J. Price of St. Louis, Mo.; three step-grandchildren; one brother, Dr. Charles L. Price and his wife Shirlye of Hartford and one sister, Dr. Ann Price of Hartford; three nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 3, at the Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Mitchell and Bro. Wesley O. Hanson officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until time of services Monday.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery Hartford. The family request expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Hartford Baptist Church 415 Liberty Street Hartford, Ky., 42347 or donor’s favorite charity.
