Claresia Sue Daugherty, 51 of Hartford, passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born Sept. 11, 1960, in Evansville, Ind., to the late Clifford Edward Mason and Betty Cardwell Mason.
She was retired from Beaver Dam Nursing Home and was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, a great mom and grandmother. She loved her grandchildren and most of all she enjoyed being with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Edward Mason and Betty Cardwell Mason Moseley and her step-father, Richard Moseley.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, David Daugherty of Hartford; two sons, Joshua Daugherty of Hartford and Michael Daugherty of Beaver Dam; two brothers, Bruce Mason of Beaver Dam and William Mason and wife Sharon of Cromwell; three sisters, Patricia (Pee Wee) Gaines of Henderson, Melesia Mason of Beaver Dam and Nancy Mason of Smithsville, Kan.; four grandchildren, Kamryn Daugherty, Trey Daugherty, Hudson Buchanan and Aurora Daugherty and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, at William L. Danks Funeral home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Rick Beard officiating. Burial will be in Taylormine Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
