Clarence Rothwell “C.R.” Wilson, 79, died Sunday, July 8, 2012.
He was a retired pipefitter, member of Pipefitters and Plumbers Local 522/502, a bluegrass music promoter for over 30 years and a member of Eastland Church of Christ.
He is survived by his children, Yvonne Wilson, Theresa Wilson, Bunny Vachon (Scott) and Rick Wilson (Cathy); four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Cornell and Curtis Wilson; and sisters, Pat Reece, Brenda Crowder, Barbara Ziegler and Shirley Reed.
His funeral is 6 p.m. Tuesday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road. Visitation is after 11 a.m. Tuesday. Another visitation is after 11 a.m. Wednesday at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, KY. Graveside service is 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, KY.
