Joy Anderson Leach, 64, of McHenry, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012, at his home. He was born Jan. 30, 1948, to Burchell and Anna Camp Leach in Ohio County. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, a member of McHenry Church of God of Prophecy and was a retired underground coal miner for Peabody Coal Company at Graham Hill Mine, Ken Mine and Camp #11 Mine.

He was preceded in death by his father, Burchell Leach and a sister, Louvina Leach.

Survivors include his mother, Anna Camp Leach of Beaver Dam; two sons, Jamie Ray (Angela Gail) Leach of McHenry and Todd Anderson (Tina Louise) Leach of Morgantown; one Daughter, Joy Mishawn Davis of Paducah; one Brother, Jeff Leach of Beaver Dam; two Sisters, Melissa Chinn of Hartford and Sarita Rice of Beaver Dam, as well as eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Roy Smith and Rev. Sonny James officiating. Burial will be in Render Memorial Cemetery in McHenry. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m.  until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
