Pearl Embry, 87, passed away at her home Thursday, March 1, 2012. She was born Nov. 22, 1924, in Burksville, Ky , daughter of the late Ethridge and Ora Walker Petty.
She was a member of East Fairview General Baptist Church and was a beautician.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clodis Embry. Survivors include her son Leon Embry; three daughters, Vivian (Freddie) Bullock, Teresa (Gene) Goodman and Sharon (Dennis) Jackson; 10 grandchildren, Timothy Embry, Brent (Denise) Embry, Tara Embry, Jeff King, Denise (Barry) Stevens, Brian (Wendy) King, Angie Decker, David (Tamara) Clark, Todd (Jennifer) Clark and Christy (Barry) Autry; 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will follow in East Fairview General Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Saturday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
