Alex William Daugherty, 18, of Centertown, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012. He was born on March 4, 1993 in Hartford, Ky., to Alex Roger and Jo Ann Daugherty of Centertown. He worked as a temp at Flextronics for the past ten months. He dreamed of going to cooking school and was in the process of pursuing those dreams. Alex attended Calvary Baptist Church in Mississippi.
Survivors include his parents, Alex Roger Daugherty and Jo Ann Daugherty of Centertown, one sister Ericka (Jason) McPherson of Beaver Dam, grandparents, Roger and Mildred Daugherty of Centertown and Bill and Peggy Milevoi of Byhalia, Miss., one nephew, Nathan Daugherty of Beaver Dam and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Bro. Kenny Shephard officiating. Burial will be in Daugherty Family Cemetery in the Centertown Area. Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
