LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Ohio County. The Winter Weather Advisory is set to go into effect at 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, and is set to expire at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2.
According to the NWS, mixed precipitation is expected for portions of south central Indiana and east central, north central, northwest, and south central Kentucky. Snow accumulations up to two inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze are possible.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning commute. Roads, especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous.
