
Tim was a 1991 graduate of Breckinridge County High School.
He was a devotedly loving husband and father. Tim was a loving and thoughtful son and brother.
Tim attended the University of Louisville and went on to build a distinguished career in the culinary and hospitality industry. He was the owner of Game Restaurant in Louisville and Game on the River in Jeffersonville, Indiana. His professional journey also included leading food service operations for Churchill Downs, the University of Arkansas, Auburn University, and the University of Louisville.
A passionate chef and natural host, Tim found joy in nourishing others – whether through his restaurants, his participation in cooking competitions, or the countless meals he lovingly prepared for family and friends.
Tim’s warmth, generosity, and larger-than-life spirit touched all who knew him and he enriched all through his kindness and his craft.
Tim grew up surrounded by family, friends and community in Falls of Rough, Kentucky. Rough River always held a special place in his heart.
Tim is survived by his wife, Melissa Stevenson Lewis; two children, a son, Alex, and daughter, Addyson, all of Louisville; his parents, Jesse (Buck) and Rita Lewis, of Falls of Rough; and brother, Chad Lewis, of Owensboro, Kentucky.
The memorial service will be held Sunday, Nov. 9, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Falls of Rough. Visitation is 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. with service at 2 p.m.
