NWS cancels Freeze Watch, issues Frost Advisory for Ohio County

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The National Weather Service in Louisville has canceled the Freeze Watch for Ohio County and instead has issued a Frost Advisory. The Frost Advisory goes into effect at 1 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24, and will expire at 8 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24.

According to the NWS, widespread frost is expected for many on Friday morning. Temperatures as low as 33 °F will result in frost formation. Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered. Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
